 What Business are you in?Landscape Architecture. What are your specialties/areas of expertise? Urban design, campus planning, traffic calming. I also design houses for my friends. What do you like most about your work? Sitting down and coming up with at least three completely different designs that all solve the same problem. What qualities do your clients/customers appreciate most about you? Well, one of them has told me that he considers me an “acquired taste.” I’m "afraid the ask the others." What qualities do you appreciate most in a client/customer? Perversely enough, a willingness to challenge whatever I propose. It almost always leads to better ideas. What is your motto? “Be prepared.” What is meaningful to you outside of work? Work is what makes life meaningful. What are your three favorite places in Laguna Beach? Thousand Steps Beach, Café Zinc, the entire Greenbelt.
